Participation in EFORT 2026 🇪🇸
We are pleased to share that Shima Gholinezhad presented our group’s recent work at EFORT 2026 in Malaga, Spain!
The work focused on two research lines in Interdisciplinary Orthopaedics. The first uses wearable sensors and real-world activity monitoring to better understand patients with knee osteoarthritis before and after total knee arthroplasty, with the aim of translating movement data into clinically meaningful digital biomarkers.
The second focuses on 3D modelling and surface registration methods to objectively measure regional anatomical changes and evaluate the effects of orthopaedic interventions.
Presented topics:
- Smart Patient Monitoring in Knee OA and Arthroplasty Care
- Preoperative Activity Patterns and Recovery After Knee Replacement
- 3D Surface Registration for Measuring Anatomical Changes
