Shima Gholinezhad

Specializing in the intersection of technology and clinical practice, my research focuses on enhancing clinical decision support in Orthopaedics. Since 2022, I have served as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalborg University Hospital and have been actively involved in the Interdisciplinary Orthopedics group.

My primary research endeavors center around 3D reconstruction technologies for various orthopedic surgery applications, including pre-operative planning, real-time intraoperative navigation, and post-operative evaluations. I am a graduate of the University of Ulster and received my PhD in Neurorehabilitation Engineering from Aalborg University in 2022.

I am currently working on two projects: OsteoPlan and KneeTwin.
